STYLIZATION OF COLORING TECHNIQUES
Â
Â
Â
Â
Stylization is the representation of an object or subject in its essential features.
But what does the stylization of a coloring technique mean?
It's very simple actually. It is enough to compare this concept that we find in the figurative arts with the figurative representation of a color technique. In the book System Balajage by the author Claudio Terribile you can find the stylizations of eight coloring techniques that have been in vogue for several years and the design of the color effects in the hair are represented in their essential features.
BALAJAGE - SHATUSH - SHADOWS
Let's start by clarifying some differences between the different coloring techniques.
Balayage refers to a lightening of lengths and ends in a completely "natural" way to create reflections that are a few shades lighter and a less clear color difference between the base and the ends compared to shatush .
Shatush recreates the shades that are naturally created in hair exposed to the sun . You can lighten up to three shades compared to the base. The method is to backcomb the entire lock and then apply the lightening product, in this way, at the end of the work, the natural backcombed hair will mix with the colored hair by combing, creating natural effects.
The ombré creates a two-tone effect with a darker upper part and a very light lower part. Where there is a transition between the two colors, customized shades can be obtained. Ombre consists of gradually blending the lengths and ends even by different tones, leaving the natural color of the hair near the root intact.
SOMBRE' - FLAMBOJAGE - MICROFRISE'
Sombré is the softer version of ombré, in fact it is created with a soft and subtle shadow that generally blends higher to obtain a more natural look. Blend the hair with warm nuances such as chocolate, caramel or honey until the tips gradually lighten. There is no clear separation of the two colors but a slow and soft gradation that gives the hair a romantic effect.
Flambojage is a coloring technique with which through a tool called flanzbojage it allows you to select locks in a completely random way and to create plays of brightness in the hair with different shades . This type of technique is mainly suitable for medium-short hair
Microfrisè is a coloring technique that recreates the same effect as when we apply microfrisé to the hair with a straightener . It gives the hair the same visual texture in terms of coloring. It is carried out with special papers on the entire hair or in certain locks of hair
